The Nobel Women (Women's Ministry):
Empowering Women for Sixteen Years
Sixteen years ago, a vision was birthed within the hearts of two remarkable women, Mummy Janipher Musoke and Mummy Grace Kobusingye, who, as patrons and vision bearers, founded The Noble Women ministry at Big God Church. Their mission was clear: to create a space where women, single mothers, and girls could be empowered spiritually, emotionally, and practically. From its humble beginnings, The Noble Women ministry has grown into a dynamic, supportive community that uplifts women from all walks of life, helping them discover their true worth and purpose in Christ. Guided by their vision, the ministry has become a beacon of hope, transformation, and renewal for countless women over the years.
The term "Noble" holds deep significance within the ministry. It refers to women of honor, dignity, and virtue—qualities that are rooted in biblical principles. A noble woman, as described in Proverbs 31, is strong, compassionate, wise, and selfless, working diligently in her home and community. This understanding of nobility is not based on outward appearance or status but on the internal qualities that reflect the love and grace of God. For the women of this ministry, being noble means embracing their identity in Christ and walking with a sense of purpose, courage, and integrity, no matter their circumstances. The term "Woman" signifies the multifaceted nature of the female journey—one that includes struggles, triumphs, nurturing, and leadership. The Noble Women ministry seeks to honor and celebrate all that it means to be a woman of God, encouraging women to embrace their unique roles in society and the kingdom of God. ‘Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil. All the days of her life. [Proverbs 31:10-12] .’
Over the years, The Noble Women ministry has empowered countless women by offering a safe space for growth and development. Through regular prayer meetings, women have deepened their faith, learning to stand firm in their beliefs and trust God for breakthroughs in their personal lives. Prayer has become a cornerstone of the ministry, and women have witnessed miraculous transformations in their homes, marriages, and careers as a result of seeking God’s intervention. Additionally, the ministry has focused on skill development, offering training and workshops to help women learn new skills, whether in entrepreneurship, financial management, or vocational crafts. This emphasis on practical education has enabled many women, especially single mothers, to become more self-sufficient and economically empowered.
One of the most impactful aspects of The Noble Women ministry is its work in healing and restoration, particularly in broken marriages. Many women in the ministry have faced relational challenges, but through counseling, prayer, and support from one another, they have found hope and strength to rebuild their marriages and families. The ministry provides a platform for open conversations about struggles, encouraging women to seek godly solutions and reconciliation. As a result, many broken relationships have been mended, and families restored, with women playing pivotal roles in the healing process. The Noble Women ministry continues to be a source of empowerment, healing, and transformation, and with each passing year, it grows stronger, touching the lives of more women, single mothers, and girls who are learning to live out their full potential in Christ.
The Annual Noble Women Coferences
The Annual Noble Women Conference, under the visionary guidance of Mummy Janipher Musoke as patron and pioneer, has been a transformative event for the women of Big God Church and beyond for the past 15 years. This conference has brought together women from all corners of Uganda, uniting them under one roof to experience the power of fellowship, teaching, and empowerment. Each year, the conference serves as a platform for women to receive spiritual nourishment, learn valuable life lessons, and connect with others who share their faith and passion for growth. Mummy Janipher Musoke’s leadership has ensured that these conferences are not only impactful but also reflect the core values of The Noble Women ministry: faith, empowerment, and community.
Over the years, the Noble Women Conference has featured many powerful women of God, particularly the wives of pastors, who have shared their wisdom and taught from their own experiences. These speakers have played a significant role in guiding women toward spiritual growth, emotional healing, and personal development. Regardless of the challenges faced over the years, the Noble Women Ministry has remained steadfast in its mission, and the conference has become a cornerstone of the ministry’s work. With each passing year, the event grows in impact, drawing more women and continuing to stand firm as a beacon of faith, empowerment, and unity for women across Uganda.
